Academic Interests:
Dr. Williams is interested in the measurement of ventricular function, evaluation of right ventricular function with scintigraphic techniques, detection of multivessel or “balanced” ischemia on SPECT perfusion imaging, stress perfusion imaging with adenosine A2a receptor agonists, and evaluation of myocardial perfusion and cardiac risk stratification in patients with obesity and metabolic syndrome. 

Clinical Interests:
Nuclear cardiology, PET/CT imaging, cardiac imaging in obesity and metabolic syndrome, exercise physiology, myocardial viability, ventricular function, ischemic heart disease.
